Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: nuovi ingressi nel cast

Ci saranno ben due new entry nel cast della seconda stagione di Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., la serie co-scritta da Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon e Maurissa Tancharoen.

Partiamo con un annuncio molto interessante. TVLine riporta che l'attore Kyle MacLachlan (Desperate Housewives, I segreti di Twin Peaks) avrà un ruolo ricorrente alquanto "spoileroso" in questa seconda stagione. Interpreterà infatti il ruolo del padre di Skye, anche se non è dato sapere che tipo di padre si intenda, se biologico, adottivo o semplicemente inteso come "creatore". Quasi sicuramente però è l'uomo che Raina chiama al termine della prima stagione e apparirà in numerosi episodi della serie.

Altro ingresso è quello di Henry Simmons (NYPD Blue, Shark) che avrà il ruolo ricorrente di Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie, ufficialmente descritto come "un meccanico sulla trentina alleato con il team di Coulson". È basato sul contatto della C.I.A. allo S.H.I.E.L.D. apparso nel fumetto Nick Fury vs. S.H.I.E.L.D del 1988.

Prodotta e co-scritta da Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon e Maurissa Tancharoen (Dollhouse, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog), Jeffrey Bell (Angel, Alias) e Jeph Loeb (Smallville, Lost, Heroes), Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. è intepretata da Clark Gregg (Agente Phil Coulson), Brett Dalton (Grant Ward), Ming-Na Wen (Agente Melinda May), Iain De Caestecker (Agente Leo Fitz), Elizabeth Henstridge (Agente Jemma Simmons), Chloe Bennet (Agente Skye), B.J. Britt (Agente Antoine Triplett), Lucy Lawless (Agente Isabel Hartly), Nick Blood (Lance Hunter), Reed Diamond (Daniel Whitehall), Patton Oswalt (Agente Billy Koenig) e Simon Kassianides (Bakshi).
La serie ritornerà con la seconda stagione il 23 settembre 2014 su ABC.
