I nuovi progetti Disney e Pixar annunciati

Durante il Disney Investor Day tenutosi ieri notte sono stati annunciati ufficialmente diversi progetti Disney e Pixar, film e serie sia live-action che animate.
Riportiamo gli annunci dal comunicato ufficiale:
"Disney Television Studios ha presentato alcune delle serie di intrattenimento per famiglie di punta attualmente in sviluppo per Disney+, tra cui due progetti ispirati alle properties Disney “La Bella e la Bestia (titolo provvisorio),” con Luke Evans e Josh Gad e nuovi brani composti da Alan Menken; e una rivisitazione del classico “Swiss Family Robinson” (Robinson nell’isola dei corsari) di Ron Moore and Jon M. Chu. Un altro progetto in corso di sviluppo è “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” (Percy Jackson e gli dei dell'Olimpo) basato sulla serie bestseller.
Attualmente Disney Television Studios sta producendo quattro serie live action che usciranno su Disney+ nel 2021: “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers,” “Big Shot,” “The Mysterious Benedict Society” e “Turner & Hooch.” (Turner e il casinaro)

Per Disney+, gli studios hanno presentato una lineup di film originali ricca di star e hanno confermato ufficialmente che produrranno “Hocus Pocus 2”, il reboot di “Tre scapoli e un bebè” con Zac Efron e “Una scatenata dozzina” con Kenya Barris e Gabrielle Union, e un nuovo film di “Sister Act” con Whoopi Goldberg, che sarà anche la produttrice insieme a Tyler Perry.
Altri progetti Disney+ che sono stati svelati includono “Cip & Ciop Agenti Speciali”, un mix tra film d'animazione e live action con John Mulaney e Andy Samberg; “Pinocchio”, diretto da Robert Zemeckis e interpretato da Tom Hanks; “Peter Pan & Wendy”, con Jude Law nel ruolo di Capitan Uncino e Yara Shahidi nel ruolo di Campanellino; e “Disenchanted”, con Amy Adams che torna nel ruolo di Giselle (“Come d’Incanto”). Tra i nuovi film biografici live action realizzati per la piattaforma ci sono “Greek Freak”, sulla star dell'NBA Giannis Antetokounmpo, oltre a progetti su Keanon Lowe e Chris Paul. Il gruppo sta anche sviluppando nuove versioni animate dei titoli più amati di 20th Century Studios come “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”, “The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild”, con Simon Pegg e “Una Notte al Museo”.
Gli studios hanno anche presentato in anteprima alcuni lungometraggi, tra cui “Jungle Cruise”, “Cruella”, il prequel de “Il Re Leone” e "La Sirenetta”.

Walt Disney Animation Studios ha fatto numerosi annunci, evidenziando il prossimo lungometraggio “Encanto” che include nuove canzoni del vincitore dell’Emmy®, del GRAMMY® e del Tony Award® Lin-Manuel Miranda e arriverà nelle sale americane a novembre 2021. Lo studio ha anche rivelato che “Raya e l’Ultimo Drago” debutterà contemporaneamente su Disney+ con Accesso VIP e nelle sale cinematografiche a marzo 2021 negli Stati Uniti.
Tra le prime serie animate prodotte da Walt Disney Animation Studios, sono stati rivelati numerosi nuovi titoli per Disney+ tra cui "Baymax", "Zootopia+" (“Zootropolis”), "Tiana" e "Oceania, La Serie", oltre a "Iwájú", che sarà prodotta in collaborazione con la società panafricana di fumetti e intrattenimento Kugali.

Pixar Animation Studios
Pixar Animation Studios ha annunciato la sua offerta di serie originali per Disney+ e lungometraggi cinematografici. Tra i titoli Pixar la prima serie animata “Win or Lose,” che arriverà in esclusiva su Disney+ nell’autunno 2023 e due nuovissimi film previsti in uscita nelle sale cinematografiche nel 2022, “Turning Red” diretto dalla regista vincitrice dell’Academy Award® Domee Shi e “Lightyear,” la storia delle origini dell’eroe che è stato fonte di ispirazione per il giocattolo. Chris Evans darà voce all’eroe nel suo viaggio per diventare il più famoso Space Ranger di sempre. Previsto per l’uscita nei cinema americani la prossima estate il film originale “Luca.”
Sono stati annunciati inoltre dettagli sulle nuove serie Disney+, incluse “Inside Pixar”, “Pixar Popcorn”, “Dug Days” e
“Cars,” così come il film d’animazione “Soul” e il cortometraggio “La Tana”, entrambi in arrivo su Disney+ il 25 dicembre 2020."
