Watchmen trionfa agli Emmy Awards

Watchmen, la serie tv HBO, ha diversi Emmy Awards fra cui quello come Miglior miniserie. È la prima volta che uno show tratto da un fumetto riceve un premio così importante alla manifestazione. Il serial si aggiudica anche il premio per "Migliore attrice protagonista" a Regina King, quello per "Miglior attore non protagonista" a Louis Gossett Jr. e, infine, quello per "Miglior sceneggiatura per una miniserie o film-tv" a Damon Lindelof e Cord Jefferson.
In precedenza, Watchmen si è aggiudicato anche i premi come "Miglior composizione musicale per miniserie, film-tv o speciali", "Miglior montaggio audio per miniserie o film-tv", "Miglior fotografia per miniserie o film-tv", "Miglior cast per miniserie o film-tv", "Miglior mix del sound per miniserie o film-tv", "Miglior montaggio d’immagini per single camera per miniserie o film-tv", "Migliori costumi fantasy/sci-fi".
