Con grande cuore, porgiamo le nostre più sentite condoglianze a sua figlia e a suo fratello, e onoriamo e ricordiamo il creatore, la voce e il campione della Marvel."

He changed the way we look at heroes, and modern comics will always bear his indelible mark. His infectious enthusiasm reminded us why we all fell in love with these stories in the first place. Excelsior, Stan.— DC (@DCComics) 12 novembre 2018

We’ve lost a creative genius. Stan Lee was a pioneering force in the superhero universe. I’m proud to have been a small part of his legacy and .... to have helped bring one of his characters to life. #StanLee #Wolverine pic.twitter.com/iOdefi7iYz— Hugh Jackman (@RealHughJackman) 12 novembre 2018
STAN LEE died a little while ago! We should all have been prepping for the eventuality, but it's still no less a shock to the cultural universe—especially to me because he was my mentor and we've stayed in touch more than 50 years! It's the END OF AN ERA! RIP, my old friend!!!— Jim Steranko (@iamsteranko) 12 novembre 2018
The world I grew up in, the life a chose to pursue, the heroes I aspired to... so much of this sprang from one place... the mind of Stan Lee. We never saw his like, and we never shall again. You sir, are missed. pic.twitter.com/XLxlWueGXr— Tom Raney (@TomRaney_art) 12 novembre 2018

Well there it is. Goodbye Stan Lee
We all saw it coming but still--For those of us who grew up reading Marvel comics--Especially in the 60s and 70s--it's the end of something. pic.twitter.com/6bmXTy9CFf

You can debate forever who really created what--Stan or Jack or Steve--but the truth is it was some magic combination of those guys. It made a big different to a whole lot of our childhoods and the world continues to be a richer place thanks to what they gave us.
There will never be another Stan Lee. For decades he provided both young and old with adventure, escape, comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship and joy. He exuded love and kindness and will leave an indelible mark on so, so, so many lives. Excelsior!!— Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans) 12 novembre 2018

Rest in peace, Soldier.— U.S. Army (@USArmy) 12 novembre 2018
Comic book creator @TheRealStanLee has passed away at the age of 95. Lee served in the #USArmy Signal Corps during WWII from 1942-1945. We are deeply grateful for his service to our country and for his tremendous support to servicemembers. #Excelsior! pic.twitter.com/P9tdwoxxx2
I was first interviewed for Stan Lee's obituary about 20 years ago. I was happy he defied the reaper and carried on. With Stan gone, an era really does come to an end. He was the happy huckster that comics needed. And he really did alliterate like that when you talked to him.— Neil Gaiman (@neilhimself) 12 novembre 2018
What a man. What a life.— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) 12 novembre 2018
When I first broke into Hollywood, he welcomed me with open arms and some very sage advice I’ll forever take to heart.
A true icon who impacted generations around the world.

Stan Lee created a universe where, if a character was beloved enough, they could never really die.— Joss Whedon (@joss) 12 novembre 2018
Now THAT’S thinking ahead.
Thanks for so much of my life. You’ll never not be in it.
