Come vi avevamo riportato poco più di un mese fa, Superior Spider-Man sta per tornare. Ora la Marvel Comics ha annunciato ufficialmente una nuova serie regolare dedicata al personaggio che verrà lanciata a novembre. La testata sarà scritta dal creatore del personaggio Dan Slott e sarà disegnata da Mark Bagley e prenderà il via dalla serie Spider-Man dei due autori sopracitati.

Come il Doctor Octopus tornerà ad essere Superior Spider-Man lo scopriremo nello speciale in uscita a settembre Superior Spider-Man Returns #1, un nuovo one-shot che celebra i 10 anni del personaggio.

"Mentre un nemico infiamma New York con tutto il potere di una stella vivente, Doc Ock fa una scoperta che cambia la vita in questa epica celebrazione di tutto ciò che ha reso Spider-Man superiore", si legge nell'annuncio della Marvel. “Il nuovo cattivo farà la sua prima apparizione in Superior Spider-Man Returns prima di scatenare la sua vendetta su Otto Octavius, Peter Parker e altri nella nuova serie.”

Scritta da Slott e illustrata da Ryan Stegman, la serie originale di Superior Spider-Man è durata da marzo 2013 a settembre 2014 ed era incentrata su un Otto Octavius morente che prendeva il corpo di Peter Parker nel tentativo di dimostrare che poteva essere uno Spider-Man migliore. Questo arco narrativo è stato adattato nella seconda stagione della serie animata Disney XD Marvel's Spider-Man. Anche Otto Octavius/Superior Spider-Man ha recentemente fatto un'apparizione cameo nel film d'animazione Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

Superior Spider-Man #1 sarà in vendita mercoledì 15 novembre.

C'è un nuovo Punitore in città. La Marvel ha infatti annunciato al San Diego Comic-Con International 2023 che l'agente S.H.I.E.L.D. in pensione Joe Garrison raccoglierà l'eredità di Frank Castle.

Joe Garrison è una creazione dello scrittore David Pepose, la cui serie limitata Moon Knight: City of the Dead è appena stata lanciata, e dell'artista Dave Wachter, meglio conosciuto per il suo lavoro sulla serie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles della IDW Publishing.

"In questa nuova saga ricca d'azione del Punisher, Frank Castle è scomparso, ma il male dovrà sempre essere punito. Con nuove minacce in arrivo per le vittime innocenti, i criminali dovranno fare attenzione a un pericoloso vigilante che li caccia dall'ombra", si legge nell'annuncio ufficiale della Marvel.

"Entra in campo un nuovo Punitore: l'agente delle operazioni segrete dello S.H.I.E.L.D. in pensione Joe Garrison. Ma cosa lo riporta in azione? Cosa ha spinto Joe Garrison sulla sua strada verso la vendetta? E quando il fumo si diraderà, riuscirà a uscirne vivo?"

SINOSSI

Basato sulla serie manga più venduta di sempre in Giappone creata da Eiichiro Oda, ONE PIECE è una leggendaria avventura di mare come nessun’altra. Monkey D. Luffy è un giovane avventuriero che ha sempre sognato una vita di libertà. Luffy parte dal suo piccolo villaggio per affrontare un pericoloso viaggio alla ricerca di un leggendario tesoro, il ONE PIECE, per diventare il Re dei Pirati. Ma, per trovare il bottino, Luffy dovrà riunire l’equipaggio che ha sempre desiderato e trovare una nave su cui salpare, perlustrando ogni centimetro dei vasti mari, scampando ai Marines, e superando in astuzia pericolosi rivali ad ogni occasione.
