Puntuale, anche quest'anno sono state diffuse le nomination per gli Harvey Awards, l'importante premio statunitense che prende il suo nome da Harvey Kurtzman, fondatore e direttore della rivista MAD. I premi vengono selezionati esclusivamente dagli addetti ai lavori attraverso una votazione online aperta fino al 31 agosto. I vincitori saranno annunciati il 26 settembre durante una cerimonia al Baltimore Comic-Con.
