Durante il Fan Expo Canada, l'attrice protagonista di Marvel's Agent Carter Hayley Atwell ha svelato qualche anticipazione riguardo alla seconda stagione del serial, in particolare ha menzionato il ritorno del personaggio Dottie Underwood interpretato da Bridget Regan.

«Oh, lei è una stronzetta sfuggente. Non abbiamo ancora visto niente di lei. Peggy combatte degli uomini cattivi, ma avere qualcuno che è fisicamente pari a lei -  è una vedova nera, incredibilmente capace e molto intelligente. Penso che questo porti un certo equilibrio per Peggy, come un rovescio della stessa medaglia. Ne vedrete di più nella Stagione 2".

Marvel's Agent Carter vede come protagonista Hayley Atwell nel ruolo di Peggy Carter, James D'Arcy come Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill, A Cinderella Story) come l'Agente Jack Thompson, Enver Gjokaj (Dollhouse) come l'Agente Daniel Sousa e Shea Whigham (American Hustle, The Woolf of Wall Street) come Roger Dooley e Bridget Regan nei panni di Dottie Underwood.

Nella seconda stagione, l'Agente Carter si recherà per motivi di spionaggio a Los Angeles e qui di seguito vi riportiamo la sinossi ufficiale.

"Dedita alla lotta delle nuove minacce dell'era atomica sulla scia della seconda guerra mondiale, Peggy deve viaggiare da New York a Los Angeles per il suo incarico più pericoloso. Ma proprio mentre scopre nuovi amici, una nuova casa - e forse anche un nuovo amore - scoprirà che le luci di Hollywood del dopoguerra mascherano una sinistra minaccia nei confronti di tutti quelli che ha giurato di proteggere".
