Qualche settimana fa vi avevamo riportato la prima selezione per i Razzie Awards 2017, ovvero il riconoscimento meno ambito del cinema che premia il peggio dell'anno. Oggi sono uscite le nomination definitive in cui Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice di Zack Snyder conferma di essere fra i film più bersagliati comparendo in molte categorie con ben 8 nomination (una in meno di Zoolander 2 leader indiscusso di questa edizione). Fra i nominati, troviamo anche posto per Suicide Squad e Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

La Platinum Dunes di Michael Bay, Brad Fuller e Andrew Form produrranno Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows su sceneggiatura di Josh Appelbaum e André Nemec. Alla regia ci sarà invece David Green. Presenti nel cast Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Danny Woodburn, Johnny Knoxville, Tony Shalhoub, Megan Fox, William Fichtner, Will Arnett, Stephen Amell, Brittany Ishibashi e Tyler Perry. Il film è previsto in Italia per il 7 luglio 2016.

Deadline riporta la notizia che Brittany Ishibashi (Eagle Eye, La rivincita delle damigelle, November) è entrata a far parte del film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, diretto da David Green, nel ruolo della ninja del Clan del Piede Karai, ruolo interpretato da Minae Noji nel precedente capitolo.

A seconda della versione del franchise che si considera, fumetto, film o cartone animato, il personaggio è sempre uno dei comandanti più importanti del Clan, anche se a volte viene descritta come la figlia adottata di Shredder o semplicemente colei che ha spodestato il villain.

Questa volta parliamo di un attore che si aggiungerà al cast: Brian Tee infatti è stato scelto per interpretare Shredder nel secondo capitolo della nuova saga cinematografica delle Tartarughe Ninja.

Nel primo film il ruolo era stato affidato a Tohoru Masamune (Inception).
