CBR ci mostra in anteprima le prime 7 tavole di The X-Files Annual 2014 #1 (IDW Publishing, già disponibile), albo speciale che racchiude due storie autoconclusive con protagonisti gli Agenti Mulder e Scully.

La prima storia è “The priest”, su testi dello storico scrittore/sceneggiatore della serie televisiva “X-Files” Frank Spotnitz e dello scrittore Gabe Rotter (collaboratore con la Ten Thirteen Productions di Chris Carter). Gli agenti Mulder e Scully si ritrovano ad indagare sul decesso di un uomo… che non vuole rimanere tale e continua a cercare di proteggere la moglie in pericolo, attraverso delle strane telefonate dall’aldilà.

La vera sorpresa di quest’albo è la seconda storia, “Talk to the Hand”, scritta da Dave Sim, creatore di Cerebus e vincitore di un Eisner Award. L’autore Canadese racconta dell’incubo di Scully, dove nel mondo onirico si ritrova a parlare con una strana mano coperta di occhi.

Dietro la campagna virale #highwaytohell che da diversi giorni sta rimbalzando sugli account ufficiali Facebook e Twitter di alcuni collaboratori della Panini Comics, con l'immagine che vedete qui di seguito, si nasconde il lancio della nuova serie prodotta interamente dalla casa editrice di Modena dal titolo Highway to Hell.


 
Noi di Comicus siamo riusciti a svelare il mistero e abbiamo scoperto maggiori informazioni a riguardo. Un primo contatto con Highway to Hell, è previsto per il prossimo 3 maggio, all’interno dell’evento Napoli Comicon 2014 dove verranno svelate le prime indiscrezioni ed anticipazioni.

Amazon.com ha annunciato di aver acquistato ComiXology, che ricordiamo essere stata la prima app no-game, nel 2013, per volume d’affari, che diventerà una controllata della società con sede a Seattle.


 
Questo il comunicato con il quale è stata diramata l’acquisizione:
“Amazon.com ha annunciato oggi di aver raggiunto un accordo per acquisire ComiXology, la società che ha rivoluzionato il mondo di leggere i fumetti in digitali con la loro tecnologia Guided View e che ha reso la scoperta, l'acquisto e la lettura di fumetti e graphic novel più semplice e più divertente che mai”.

"La missione di ComiXology è quella di diffondere l'amore per i fumetti e i graphic novel in tutte le forme", ha dichiarato David Steinberger, co-fondatore e CEO di ComiXology. "Non c'è posto migliore per Comixology di Amazon per vedere realizzata questa visione. Lavorando insieme, cerchiamo di accelerare l’inizio di una nuova era per i fumetti e i graphic novel".

"Amazon e Comixology condividono la stessa passione nel reinventare il modo di leggere in un mondo digitale”, così si espresso David Naggar, Vice Presidente di Amazon, Content Acquisition e Independent Publishing. "Abbiamo a lungo ammirato la passione con la quale Comixology ha cambiato il nostro modo di acquistare e leggere fumetti e graphic novel. Non vediamo l'ora di investire nel business, accrescere la squadra, e insieme, portare fumetti e graphic novel sempre più lettori".

I termini dell'acquisizione non sono stati divulgati, e il quartier generale di Comixology rimarranno a New York.

Sarà disponibile a partire da oggi, mercoledì 16 aprile, negli USA il primo numero della nuova serie dedicata a Hulk, di cui vi avevamo già anticipato alcune indiscrezioni in un precedente news.

Inserita all’interno della nuova iniziativa editoriale della Casa delle Idee, All-New Marvel NOW!, la serie è realizzata da Mark Waid (testi) e Mark Bagley (matite), mentre le diverse cover disponibili portano la firma dello stesso Bagley, Jerome Opeña, Chris Samnee, Matthew Wilson e Skottie Young.
 
A seguito degli scioccanti eventi visti nel finale di Indestructible Hulk, Bruce Banner giace in fin di vita. Se dovesse sopravvivere, non sarà più lo stesso Bruce che abbiamo conosciuto! Come potrà Hulk sfogare la sua rabbia sull’assalitore di Banner? Come farà?

Vi avevamo già parlato di Gine, la mamma di Goku che avrebbe fatto finalmente la sua apparizione in un'extra del volume Ginga Patrol Jako, uscito lo scorso 4 aprile in Giappone.

Ora, in basso potete vedere le immagini del personaggio. Di sicuro non dovremo attendere molto per leggere l'edizione italiana di questa storia.



 

ATTENZIONE: la seguente news potrebbe contenere SPOILER!

USA Today ha rivelato il futuro di Dick Grayson a.k.a. Nightwing, a seguito degli eventi narrati in Forevel Evil. Dopo la chiusura di Nightwing, Dick tornerà in Grayson, serie scritta da Tim Seeley e Tom King, con i disegni di Mikel Janìn.

La serie vedrà il protagonista diventare un agente segreto sotto copertura nell’agenzia spionistica denominata Spyral, un prodotto della Batman Incorporated. La scelta di Dick Grayson sarà fortemente caldeggiata dal suo mentore Batman, il quale gli consiglierà di “restare morto”.

Grayson #1 arriverà negli USA il 2 luglio 2014.

Grant Morrison sta per tornare. Ad agosto 2014, infatti, prenderà il via The Multiversity (di cui vi avevamo già parlato), mini-serie evento targata DC Comics, come annunciato da CBR. Non è stata ancora comunicata la durata dell’evento, come anche la periodicità.

Ogni numero sarà di ben 40 pagine, con un team di disegnatori che si alterneranno fra loro: The Multiversity #1 vedrà a lavoro Ivan Reis e Joe Prado, con i colori di Nei Ruffino.

Morrison ha rilasciato alcune dichiarazioni a riguardo:
“The Multiversity è un lavoro d’amore che ha richiesto otto anni di preparazione e ha messo insieme un incredibile supergruppo di artisti: Reis, Sprouse, Oliver, Quitely, Stewart e altri. Ci sarà un cast di indimenticabili personaggi delle 52 Terre alternative del Multiverso DC: preparatevi ad incontrare la Vampire Justice League di Terra-43, i Justice Riders di Terra-18, Superdemon, Doc Fate, i super figli di Superman e Batman, i Retaliators di Terra-8, gli Atomic Knights of Justice, Dino-Cop, Sister Miracle, Lady Quark, la legione di Sivanas, il Nazi New Reichsmen di Terra-10 e per ultimo il più grande supereroe di Terra-1, TU!”.

Dopo Ultimate Spider-Man #200, Miles Morales torna da protagonista in una serie Ultimate, dal titolo Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man #1.

Un nuovo status quo per il personaggio con il ritorno di un vecchio nemico di Peter Parker. Brian Michael Bendis ai testi promette un numero imperdibile per la prima parte di una grande saga dal titolo "Revival", con l'ultima tavola che farà gridare i fan... Alle matite, troviamo David Marquez che, insieme a Fiona Staples e a Brandon Peterson, è autore anche delle cover.

Dopo le varie imperfezioni riscontrate sul numero 1 della nuova edizione di Ken Parker, Mondadori Comics ha annunciato sulla propria pagina Facebook la ristampa del volume:

"Cari amici lettori, abbiamo avuto evidenza solo a volume stampato di due imperfezioni presenti su Ken Parker 1: in copertina e nella prima vignetta di pagina 184.

Amiamo Ken quanto tutti voi e vogliamo ottenere il miglior risultato per un lavoro che ha richiesto più mani e numerosi interventi migliorativi, come da volontà degli autori.
